Getting Started

First thing is first: let's meet! Before taking on new clients, I like to do a meet and greet to get to know each other as well as to help your pup feel comfortable around me. Part of the meet and greet will also invoice going over your preferences, your pup's needs, our contract, how to schedule/pay invoices, etc. Typically, this takes between 30-60 minutes.

I will notify you when I arrive, when the visit concludes, and how it went! I use timetopet to keep real-time track of walks and provide updates for clients including time tracking, messages/report cards, and cute pics! This is also an excellent tool to help provide professional and timely invoices and updates on services. It is not necessary to download the app as you can access these updates on the website portal, but I do recommend it. I will talk to you more about timetopet once we meet!

Will you send pictures or videos during your walk?

​

One of my clients' favorite services during our visits are the pictures of their pets having a great time! I aim to provide at least two pics, and possibly videos, for each walk! However, if I feel for any reason that it is unsafe for either myself, your pet, or anyone around, I will not take pictures during our visits. My number one concern is your pet's well-being, so pictures are nice but they are not priority. I will also never use a picture of your pet on any of my platforms (Instagram, Yelp, this website) without your consent!

How many dogs will you walk at once?

I offer group walks for dogs who are well-suited for it. I will not pair dogs together without owner consent (from both owners) and only if I believe the dogs are well matched. For dogs who prefer their solo time, that's what they get! The group walks offer a great opportunity for socialization, and generally add 5-10 minutes to your dogs walk time as I am able to double up the walks.

Inclement Weather Policy

 

As stated before, it is my number one concern to ensure your pet's well-being. If for any reason I feel the weather poses a threat or will be too uncomfortable for your pet I will be sure they get a quick potty break and spend the rest of the time indoors playing and interacting through training or lots of loving. Inclement weather includes heavy rainfall (we're talking flash-flood and lightning), icy conditions, and extreme temperatures. If it is so hot that I cannot hold the back of my hand on the sidewalk for more than 5 seconds, your pet's paws shouldn't have to either! If your pet has any cold weather clothing, please be sure to leave it near the leash for our walks.

I am a strong believer in doing the best we can for our environment so I provide complimentary biodegradable poop bags for each walk!
